PFP Contracting Limited (PFP), under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, aim to provide a safe and healthy environment for all its employees. PFP considers that the prevention of all incidents that may result in injury to personnel, or damage to plant and equipment, is essential to both the well being of its employees and the efficiency of its business activities.

All the Company's activities are conducted with due regard to all statutory requirements, with appropriate safeguards against exposing employees and the public to health and safety risks. The Managing Director of PFP is responsible for the overall implementation of the Company Health and Safety Policy.

PFP is committed to the full support and active participation of every employee in the achievement and maintenance of a safe working environment. As such each individuals responsibilities regarding health and safety has been explained to them. It is the duty of all employees to act responsibly and to take all precautions necessary not only to protect themselves but also to protect other persons from injury. All employees will be expected to report any unsafe act or situation immediately. No employee will be penalised or disadvantages by such action or as a result of sensible compliance with safe operating practices. Any breaches of Company Safety Procedures may result in disciplinary action.

PFP acknowledges that in order to achieve this, it has a commitment to ensure that all personnel receive the necessary training, information, protective clothing and equipment to enable them to work in a safe and healthy manner. Where sub-contractors are employed, every effort shall be made to ensure their commitment to safety and that their Health and Safety Policy is compatible with PFP's. Where necessary PFP will superimpose its Health and Safety standards on to the subcontractor.
